What is Biblical Counseling?
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Ps 119:105)
Biblically Based World View
We view the world through a biblical lens, believing that Scripture speaks to all of life’s issues . We believe that God’s Word is sufficient to guide anyone seeking healing and fullness in life, whether within or beyond the Christian faith.
Let the peace Christ rule in your heart. (Col 4:15)
Christ Centered
We will walk with you through your struggles in Christ.
He sees you, hears you in your troubles and will walk over water to meet you where you are. He is our peace and brings healing, hope, and growth, even in life’s most challenging moments. We aim to help you to become more Christ-like to the fullest.
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. ( 3 John 1:2)
Clinically Informed
As embodied souls, our bodies impact our souls, and our souls impact our bodies. We care for the soul with mindful attention to the body, keeping in mind your diagnoses, medications, and medical history.

What’s in a Name, DearC?
Our name, DearC, is inspired by our search for Christ and our heartfelt call to Him as “Dear Christ.” When He meets us, He provides a comfort and peace that this world cannot offer.
The name also reflects the image of The Ark—the safe haven where God preserved Noah and his family amid the Great Flood and stormy weather. Just as they were kept secure, we, too, are given shelter, peace, and protection in Christ, who quiets heavy storms and carries us through all of life’s troubles and pains through His Word.
Our name is a confession of our first and last hope: that Christ—the Word, Scripture Himself, our protector and peace-giver—keeps us secure through every trial and storm.
