Q. What has shifted in your life since our sessions?
I came to accept my weaknesses and strengths as they are, without judgment — embracing myself as the person God created me to be.

Q. What has shifted in your life since our sessions?
I began counseling because of anxiety and panic attacks that suddenly overwhelmed me one day. Counseling became a precious opportunity to face my past — a time of healing where I could meet my younger self, hold her close, and offer the comfort I hadn't been able to give her back then. I was able to look deeply into the roots of my anxiety and panic attacks, and each week, the hymn and Scripture my counselor chose helped me find my footing.

I came to realize my true identity and was able to recover my self-worth. Through that, forgiveness became possible, I was freed from shame that had troubled me for a long time, and my relationships became far richer.

Q. What has shifted in your life since our sessions?
In the past, as a Christian, I received psychological counseling rather than biblical counseling. At the time, the counseling focused primarily on helping me express my thoughts and emotions while providing a safe space where I felt heard. Although that process was meaningful in its own way, I remember leaving each session with unresolved emotions that felt even more vivid, resulting in a lingering sense of heaviness and emotional discomfort. In contrast, this counseling was much more than simply analyzing or understanding my personality. It became an opportunity to experience how God is actively working in my life. As the sessions progressed, I sensed the gentle guidance of the Holy Spirit as He carefully ministered to my heart, and I experienced God bringing genuine healing and restoration to the deepest places of my heart.

Q. What has shifted in your life since our sessions?
My marriage had broken down amid conflict between my husband and my parents, and I began counseling feeling completely lost about which direction to take. Through counseling, I came to see that I had feared and depended on my mother more than God, and had held my husband to that same standard for years. Rather than condemning me, counseling illuminated my heart through God's Word, and taught me how to honor my parents in a way that pleases God, and how to entrust my husband to God — loving him and waiting rather than trying to change him myself. The biggest change is that my life's direction has shifted to be centered on God.
