Is Biblical Counseling only for Christians?

You don't have to be a Christian to receive biblical counseling. It is for anyone who is open to seek help and hope that biblical wisdom can provide.

The length of counseling can vary greatly depending on the issues being addressed. Typically, we will meet for 10 sessions, but as we approach the end of these sessions, we will discuss together whether additional sessions may be needed.

Counseling Session Interaction
How many sessions will I need?

Our counseling typically involves around 10 sessions, meeting once a week; however, the duration and frequency will ultimately depend on your unique needs and the nature of your concerns. If you prefer a set number of sessions, please feel free to discuss this at the start or at any point during our work together. While the total length of counseling may not initially be known, I will work with you to recommend an appropriate number of sessions based on your progress and needs.

How long do sessions last?

Counseling sessions are offered in 50-minute sessions. Counselors may suggest longer sessions if they feel it will help your progress.

Do you accept insurance?

No. The type of counseling I provide does not fall within an insurance model. For insurance to cover counseling costs, a diagnosis and a treatment plan aligned with the medical model would be necessary, both of which I do not provide as a biblical counselor.
